Any improper handling may lead to serious safety accidents such as fire, explosion, or leakage. 1. Explosion-proof design: the first line of defense to protect life and property

For flammable and explosive hazardous chemicals, explosion-proof is the primary consideration. High-quality hazardous chemical storage cabinets usually adopt a double-layer steel plate structure and form a solid overall frame through welding process. In order to achieve excellent fire protection, the interior of the storage cabinet is usually filled with insulation materials such as mineral wool or ceramic fiberboard. To this end, manufacturers have taken a series of anti-corrosion measures to improve the durability of the product.

First, in terms of material selection, in addition to the conventional cold-rolled steel plates, some special-purpose storage cabinets will also use stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant alloys as the main materials. This type of material not only has high mechanical strength, but also shows excellent resistance to acid and alkali solutions.

Secondly, surface treatment technology should not be ignored. Common practices include plastic spraying, galvanizing, epoxy resin coating, etc., which can form a dense protective film on the metal surface to isolate the external medium from direct contact with the substrate. In particular, special coatings customized for specific chemical categories can provide more targeted protection.

Finally, internal lining is also an effective anti-corrosion method. For example, when storing strong acids and alkalis, PP (polypropylene) sheets can be installed on the inner wall of the cabinet to use its excellent chemical stability to resist the erosion caused by corrosive liquids.

Each function does not exist in isolation, but is an overall solution that is interrelated and complementary.
